Now that we’ve survived the excitement of the Super Bowl, it’s time to put our love of football behind us and start thinking about the other things we love.  Valentines Day is this weekend, so I’ve rounded up some great recipes for some very sweet ways to show some love to the people we love!

We all know the importance of eating breakfast, so of course a great Valentines Day starts with some great breakfast treats:

This heart shaped bacon from Food Network is just too cute:

We need heart shaped pancakes, too (also from Food Network):

And how about some pretty Valentines Day Donuts from the First Year Blog, that look almost too good to eat!

Now on to some delicious looking cakes:

If you love cherries  and chocolate chips, you’ll flip for this Cherry Chocolate Chip cake from Life Love and Sugar:

I love Red Velvet Cake, like this one from Better Homes and Gardens:

But if you prefer your red velvet cake in smaller, bite-sized pieces, these Red Velvet Truffles from Dixie Crystals are just right for you:

I saved the best for last, because cookies are my favorite:

Of course I started with these Red Velvet Cheesecake Cookies from Two Peas and Their Pod (I really love red velvet, in case you couldn’t tell):

Then there’s the Valentine Pudding Cookies from Crazy For Crust

And finally, because I REALLY love chocolate, these Frosted Chocolate Cookies from Dessert For Two:
