Hello fellow sports fans!
I had created some amazing red, white and blue shoes for the 4th of July last year, and knew I could do the same for baseball. And for a LOT less than the $50 you’d probably pay in a store!
Are you ready to get started?
Step 1 – Collect the Supplies
All you need is:
• White canvas shoes in your size (I got mine on Amazon for about $12)
• A red marker with a small tip (I used a Sharpie®)
Step 2 – Draw the stitches
• Remove the shoelaces, and set to the side
• Using the seam lines on the front of your shoes as a guide, draw small “v” shapes to create the stitches
• Then use the seam in the back to draw more stitches
• Repeat for the second shoe
• I chose to draw my stitches in the opposite direction for the second shoe
• Let dry thoroughly!
Step 3 – Finish
• Touch up any stitch lines as needed (as the marker dries, it may get soaked into the canvas and leave light lines)
• Put the shoelaces back into the shoes
• Put your new shoes on, and you are ready to go!
How fun are these shoes! Comment below and let me know if you try them out!
Until next week,
Carrie
